With only 18 days until the final stages of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, the BJP’s top leadership will launch a blitzkrieg campaign across the state over the next five phases, with prominent leaders such as Amit Shah and JP Nadda canvassing for votes in support of Yogi Adityanath’s second term.
The BJP’s final effort comes as the party aspires for a clean majority in Uttar Pradesh.
Amit Shah, Smriti Irani, Shantanu Thakur, Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Uma Bharti, Gautam Gambhir, Tejasvi Surya, Manoj Tiwari, Hema Malini, Ravi Kishan, and Dinesh Lal Nirauah will be deputed in the state and are likely to hold rallies and public interaction programmes.
The BJP has enlisted the help of its top leaders to cover all of the assembly segments that will be voted on in the following five phases.
While Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, will be campaigning in Uttar Pradesh for nine days beginning today, he will also be in Manipur on February 20 and 26. On February 17, 19, 22, 24, 25, 28, and March 1, 2 and 4, he has potential dates in UP. At least three to four’sabhas’ in various assemblies are to be addressed.
JP Nadda, the BJP’s national president, is set to campaign for the party’s candidates in UP for eight days, from February 18 to 20, February 22-23, February 26, and March 1–2.
Rajnath Singh, the Union Defense Minister, will also be campaigning in the state for at least eight days. He’ll be in the state on the 19th and 20th of February, the 24th and 25th of February, the 27th and 28th of February, and the 2nd and 4th of March.
Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, will visit Uttar Pradesh for five days between February 22 and March 3.
Piyush Goyal, the Commerce Minister, will campaign in Uttar Pradesh on February 22-23, February 27-28, and March 2.
In addition, the BJP has compiled a list of 41 other leaders who will campaign in the election-bound state, including Smriti Irani, Manohar Lal Khattar, Dushyant Gautam, Shahnawaz Hussain, Gautam Gambhir, Hema Malini, Ravi Kishan, and Manoj Tiwari.
