In Karhal to Seek Votes for Akhilesh, Mulayam Forgets Son’s Name; CM Yogi’s comment on it

After Mulayam Singh Yadav, the Samajwadi Party’s patriarch, ‘forgot’ his son and party president Akhilesh Yadav’s name while campaigning in Karhal, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath slammed Mulayam Singh Yadav, alleging that things had “truly grown dreadful.”

During an electoral rally on Thursday, Mulayam Singh Yadav, the patriarch of the Samajwadi Party, sought votes for his son Akhilesh Yadav, guaranteeing that his party will fulfil the people’s hopes. According to Yadav, people want to see poverty and unemployment alleviated, and his party’s stance on these issues are very clear.

According to reports and videos shared on social media, when Mulayam neared the end of his address, he was reminded to ‘beg for votes’ by MP Dharmendra Yadav, who was standing close.

Mulayam, as well as everyone else in the room, burst out laughing. For a brief moment, the leader appeared to forget Karhal’s contender’s name and exhorted supporters to support ‘whoever was the candidate here’ to victory. Following Yadav’s hint, Mulayam predicted that Akhilesh will win by a large margin.

“Netaji is quite smart,” Adityanath subsequently joked about the situation. He is aware that the people of Karhal have chosen SP Singh Baghel as their leader. ‘Take the name,’ the other guy continued encouraging him. ‘I don’t know who is fighting for the SP candidate here,’ he remarked. According to sources, Adityanath added, “It is terribly terrible that a father does not know his son’s name.”

“It is the policy of the Samajwadi Party that our farmers should be given priority,” Mulayam Singh Yadav stated in his speech. “Arrangements of fertilisers and seeds should be made, and they should be provided with the means of irrigation that will boost the production.””

“If the yield rises, the farmer’s situation will improve. Similarly, jobs for our educated kids should be arranged. This is something that no government is doing “he had stated.

He promised the people that if the Samajwadi Party becomes a government, the youth will be given jobs and employment, as they are necessary for running households.

“The Samajwadi Party’s policies are clear. Farmers, youngsters, and traders will all work together to strengthen this state, and the country will thrive as a result. “Today’s large gathering has demonstrated that the people want farmers, youngsters, and traders to work together to develop the country,” he had remarked.
