L-G Manoj Sinha Will Preside Over Main Independence Day Function in Jammu and Kashmir

The major Independence Day ceremony in Jammu and Kashmir will be presided over by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, with District Development Council (DDC) chairpersons serving as chief guests in their respective districts. The lieutenant governor will preside over the main Independence Day ceremony, which will be held at the Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium here, according to an order issued by the General Administration Department.

The L-Advisor G’s RR Bhatnagar will preside over the celebration at M A Stadium in Jammu, while the mayors and DDC chairpersons of Jammu and Srinagar will attend the main functions in their respective towns. In their various districts, the DDC chairpersons will preside over the functions and give a rake salute at the march past.

Presidents of municipal committees and councils will preside over the proceedings in their respective areas, while Block Development Council chairpersons will preside over the functions in their respective blocks.
