Muslim Dosa Seller Runs Stall With Hindu Name in Mathura, Locals Vandalise and Call it ‘Economic Jihad’

Locals are said to have protested a Muslim guy who runs a dosa stand called “Shrinath.” “According to a FIR lodged at Mathura’s Kotwali police station, the cops tore the eatery’s banners and warned him ripped remove the stall from the market.

According to the FIR, some individuals approached Irfan’s stand on August 18 and asked why he named it “Shrinath.”” The accused then allegedly tore the banners and advised him to remove his cafe from the city’s Vikas Market.

The café is owned by a local person named Rahul, who pays them Rs 400 per day to run it, according to the workers. “We have been running this for the previous five years; there has been no problem with the name,” Irfan, the stall’s owner, told The Indian Express. We had not considered the possibility of a problem. Some people arrived that day and tore down the banners, claiming that Muslim people could not maintain a shop with a Hindu name. They appeared to be having a problem with the name.”

According to media reports, some males can be seen heckling the dosa-seller in a video that has gone viral on social media. Because the stall is named Shrinath, the accused is said to have told Irfan that “Hindus will come to eat.”

Devraj Pandit, the man who led the mob, later released a video of the incident on Facebook. He further accused the vendor of “economic jihad,” stating that it is because of people like him that Hindus are unable to find work. Pandit urged his Facebook followers to “fight against such sellers who seek Sanathana dharma’s assistance.” Pandit identifies as a devotee of priest Yati Narasinganand Saraswati, which is interesting.
