UP CM Yogi Adityanath Takes Charge of Kalyan Singh’s Final Journey, to Stay the Night at Ex UP CM’s Home Village

Kalyan Singh, the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh who led the state administration during the demolition of the Babri Masjid in December 1992, died on Saturday in Lucknow at the age of 89. He had been sick for a long time.

Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, has been in charge of Singh’s last journey and has visited his home twice. Singh died at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), where the Chief Minister visited twice.

Ministers have been entrusted with planning Singh’s burial. The last darshan at Singh’s abode has been given to Swami Prasad Maurya. Suresh Khanna, the Parliamentary Affairs Minister, and Siddharth Nath Singh, the Chief Minister, will oversee the process in the legislature.

Singh’s mortal remains will be transported from the assembly to the BJP’s party office, where people can pay their respects. Swatantra Dev Singh Singh, the state party president, is in charge of the tasks at the BJP’s headquarters.

Singh’s body would then be transported to Aligarh, where Suresh Rana will assume command. CM Adityanath will spend the night at Singh’s village of Atrauli, which will be looked after by Transport Minister Ashok Kataria.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National President JP Nadda drove straight from the airport to Singh’s Mall Avenue home.

Several leaders are present in Singh’s mansion, including Keshav Prasad Maurya, Mahendra Singh, and Ashutosh Tandon.
