The Uttar Pradesh government relocated nine IPS officers, including six district police chiefs, late Monday night in another administrative restructuring.
According to an official statement, SSP Meerut Ajay Sahni has been transferred to Jaunpur in the same position, while SP Jaunpur Raj Karan Nayyar has been sent to DGP headquarters in the same position.
Similarly, Meerut SSP Prabhakar Chaudhary was assigned to Moradabad SSP Prabhakar Chaudhary, while Pawan Kumar, who had been on the waiting list, was assigned to Moradabad SSP Pawan Kumar.
Poonam, the PAC commandant in Agra, is the new Amroha SP, while Suniti, the Amroha SP, has been transferred to the DGP headquarters in Lucknow.
