Russian President Vladimir Putin wished India a happy 75th Independence Day “India’s achievements in the economic, social, and other fields are internationally recognised. Your country enjoys a high level of worldwide esteem and plays an important role in resolving pressing international challenges.”
“We value the relationships that have developed as a result of our countries’ privileged strategic alliance. I am certain that further increasing the entire range of constructive Russian-Indian ties is entirely in the interests of our peoples and is consistent with regional and global peace and security “he further stated.
Prior to it, US President Joe Biden wished India a happy 75th Independence Day.
In his message to India on the occasion of India’s 75th Independence Day, Biden said, “On this day, August 15, 1947, India completed her long path toward independence, guided by Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of truth and nonviolence.”
“Today, that underlying commitment to respecting the people’s will through democracy continues to inspire the world and is the backbone of our special link. Our people’s links, which include a vibrant community of more than four million Indian-Americans, have sustained and enhanced our friendship over the decades,” Biden remarked.
