PM Modi calls for ‘sabka prayas’ for new India, Gati Shakti plan, blueprint for 100 years of Independence | Here is top announcement

Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted various aspects of India while delivering a speech on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day on Sunday, from voicing the pain of partition to praising the nation for its bravery during the Covid-19 pandemic to speaking about development in various sectors of the country.

“Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayaas” is very vital for the attainment of all our goals, according to Prime Minister Modi, who laid out a roadmap for India’s development journey. He went on to say, “India must continue to make new commitments over the next 25 years.”

Here are top announcements made by PM Modi in his Independence Day speech:

1. Partition Horrors Remembrance Day was declared by Prime Minister Modi on August 14. On Sunday, he acknowledged it in his Independence Day speech, saying, “After Independence, we forgot about the Partition and its horrors. We must remember them and the anguish they endured as a result of Partition. On August 14, we shall commemorate the martyrs of Partition.”

2. PM Modi stated that more than 54 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far as a result of India’s accelerated efforts to develop its own Covid-19 vaccine. “During Covid, our doctors, nurses, paramedical staff, sanitation workers, scientists developing vaccinations, and crores of citizens working with a sense of service – all those who committed every second to assisting others deserve our gratitude,” he stated.

3. In his 75th Independence Day address, Prime Minister Modi established the plan for the country’s next 100 years of independence. “Our goal for the 100th year is that we make prosperity, excellent governance, discipline, and developing an ideal India, an India that runs with the world,” Prime Minister Modi stated.

“When we celebrate the 100th anniversary of India’s independence, we must ensure that we achieve our goal of establishing Aatmanirbhar Bharat,” Prime Minister Modi remarked.

“There comes a period in every country’s growth journey when it defines itself from a new end and moves forward with fresh resolutions. In India’s growth journey, that time has arrived, he remarked.

4. PM Modi went on to discuss the country’s growth in rural areas. “We need to bridge the gap between village and city life,” he remarked.

“Now we must proceed towards saturation,” PM Modi stated, adding that “100% villages will have roads, 100% families will have a bank account, 100% beneficiaries must have Ayushman Bharat cards, and 100% eligible folks should have a gas connection under the Ujjwala plan.”

“To propel India to new heights in the twenty-first century, it is critical to fully utilise the country’s capabilities. We must hold the hands of the lagging portion, the lagging area, in order to achieve this “Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated.

“Our villages are rapidly transforming today. Villages have recently gained access to infrastructure such as roads and power. 5. In an effort to combat malnutrition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the government will fortify rice provided to the needy through various initiatives such as Midday Meal. He also emphasised the importance of scientific approaches to agricultural expansion in ensuring universal food security.

“Poor children’s growth is hampered by malnutrition and a lack of micronutrients. In light of this, it has been decided to fortify rice distributed to the underprivileged through various government programmes “In his Independence Day speech, Prime Minister Modi remarked.

Five of the 15 states designated for the ‘Central scheme on fortified rice and its distribution via public distribution system (PDS)’ are now piloting the scheme in one district each.

PM Modi stated that every rice distributed under any scheme will be fortified by 2024. “Our villages are undergoing rapid transformation,” Modi stated, emphasising that digital entrepreneurs are also being encouraged in communities.

6. PM Modi also stated that the PM Gati Shakti Plan will be implemented in the near future. Gati Shakti is a national infrastructure master plan of Rs. 100 lakh crore that will provide the groundwork for holistic infrastructure and provide an integrated path for our economy, he said.

7. Expressing a desire to “”We will have to provide new facilities to boost the collective strength of the country’s small farmers,” PM Modi added. Today, ‘Kisan rail’ operates on more than 70 rail routes across the country “.. PM Modi said that 75 ‘Vande Bharat’ trains will connect different sections of the country throughout the 75 weeks of the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.’

In his Independence Day address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the government’s priority is to make small farmers, who own less than two hectares of land and account for more than 80% of all farmers, the country’s pride.

9. PM Modi also stated that trains will soon connect the capitals of the northeastern states. PM Modi stated that the northeast is writing a new chapter in the history of connectivity, and that work to connect the region’s state capitals with rail services will be completed shortly.

PM Modi stated during his Independence Day speech that several sections of the country, including the east, northeast, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, the entire Himalayan region, the coastal belt, and the tribal region, will become a major base for India’s future development.

10. In the last two years, nearly 4.5 crore new families have received piped water connections through the Jal Jeevan Mission, according to PM Modi. By 2024, the programme seeks to deliver tap water to all rural homes. “Within two years of the Jal Jeevan Mission, almost 4.5 crore new families have received piped water,” PM Modi stated.

11. Another major area, according to PM Modi, is the health sector. According to him, a network of 75,000 wellness centres is being established, as well as oxygen plants for hospitals.

12. “Equal representation for OBC, SC, and ST is being worked on. In medical institutions, reservations have been made “Prime Minister Modi stated. He also mentioned the recently passed constitutional change bill in Parliament. The bill aims to restore the states’ ability to create their own OBC lists.
