The close associates of India’s Covid-positive throwdown specialist Dayanand Garani, riddhiman Saha, Abhimanyu Easwaran, and Bharat Arun, have finished their 10-day isolation in London and have rejoined the rest of the squad in Durham, the BCCI announced on Saturday.
After Garani’s test result came back positive on July 15, the trio was placed in precautionary isolation. Due to the same reason, Saha and Easwaran were unable to play in India’s three-day tour match against County Select XI.

KL In the absence of Pant and Saha, Rahul wore the gloves for India in the tour match on Thursday, which ended in a tie.
Pacer Avesh Khan and all-rounder Washington Sundar were both injured while fielding and batting during the tour match. Both athletes are expected to return home in the near future.
Before the start of the 5-Test series against England on August 4 in Nottingham, India will play another intra-squad encounter.
