No Government Interference In People’s Lives Among Long-Term Goals: PM Modi

On the 75th anniversary of India’s independence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the country “should not contain our 75th year in a single celebration.” “We should prepare the groundwork for new goals and move forward with renewed commitment,” he added, noting that every country “interprets itself in a new light” and sets out to achieve new objectives.

He stated that the moment is now for India, and that the day will arrive by the time the country celebrates its 100th anniversary of independence.

“The goal of amrut kaal (golden hour) is to build an India where cities and villages do not have a development divide… an India where the government does not interfere in the lives of its people, an India with the most modern infrastructure… that we do not lag behind anyone… this is the goal of millions of citizens,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in his address to the nation from the ramparts.

The Prime Minister has already stated that the government’s interference should be reduced.

Last year, he remarked in his Independence Day address: “I’ve repeatedly questioned my officials if, after so many years of independence, the government’s intervention in regular citizens’ lives can’t be reduced. The goal of independence is for the government to gradually loosen its grip on the people, allowing them to live their own lives and make their own decisions. Allow them to explore all options.”

“The government should not exert any pressure. In the same way, if there is a crisis, the government should not be absent “He’d also added.

The Prime Minister, on the other hand, reminded the public that resolution is meaningless unless it is backed up by action.

“A determination will remain unfulfilled unless it is accompanied by valour and hard labour. As a result, we must pursue all of our goals with utmost courage and dedication “Prime Minister Modi stated.
