Yogi govt announced major teacher recruitment for Sanskrit schools to overcome shortage

To improve Sanskrit language study in the state and address a teacher deficit in Sanskrit institutions, the Yogi government has initiated a large Sanskrit teacher recruitment drive in Uttar Pradesh.

Except for the summer break time, Sanskrit teachers will be hired for the academic sessions 2021-22 and 2022-23. In both non-government-aided and government-aided Sanskrit secondary schools, teachers would be hired on an honorarium basis.

The interview would be conducted entirely in Sanskrit. Teachers working at the pre-medium level would be paid Rs 12,000 per month, while those working at the North-Madhya level will be paid Rs 15,000 per month.

The UP government’s Sanskrit teacher recruitment push demonstrates the state’s dedication to promoting Sanskrit and streamlining the ancient language’s learning system.
